Keep It Moving’s mission is to enable wheelchair and mobility users to be more self-sufficient by doing their own maintenance and repairs on their devices.

Why

I started this project because of a close family member who needed help with affordably maintaining their manual wheelchair and reducing the wear and tear on their joints. I realized that many other users are facing similar challenges, and I wanted to create a community where we can all learn together and support each other.

With the consolidation of wheelchair companies under just a few private equity firms. The focus on net new sales vs repairs has become more apparent to many of us. Repairs have been left by the wayside. Smaller maintenance and repairs are ignored until a user’s critical lifeline finally breaks down so they can sell a new one and make more money.

We help you navigate the world of Wheelchair Maintenance. To get you back up and rolling when you need it.

It doesn’t have to be hard. We’ll show you how to find your device’s owners, parts, and if possible, service guides. Demo how to find the tools and parts you need.

We have step-by-step videos on YouTube and offer 1-on-1 instruction. Do you have a group who could benefit? We can have a live demo Q&A or a live stream event.
